As part of the A.P. Møller - Maersk Group, Norfolkline is committed to establishing continuous growth throughout the organisation and as a result of this commitment have achieved substantial growth in recent years. They currently employ more than 2000 employees in 13 countries across Europe, operating out of 35 different locations.
In 2006 more than 2.0 million passengers used Norfolkline's passenger ferry service across the English Channel (between Dover and Dunkerque) and on the Irish Sea (between Liverpool & Belfast/Dublin), and provided over 1.2 million freight movements for our their freight ferry and logistics customers.
Norfolkline are currently operating 18 vessels and expect this number to grow with new build projects already underway. To support their logistics business their equipment portfolio includes over 550 refrigerated trailers including (200 with dual compartment units), 1750 dry-cargo trailers, and 1150 swap-body trailers (used on their intermodal rail services).
