Tirrenia di Navigazione ferries make a large number of connections every year.
On the Tirreno, a fleet consisting mainly of new high speed super-ferries that can reach speeds of 30 knots, guarantees comfort and reduced navigation times between:
- the Italian peninsula and Sardinia
- Naples and Palermo
- Cagliari, Palermo and Trapani
Tirrenia makes local connections:
- Isole Tremiti
Tirrenia also manages a large number of cargo crafts.
In addition to these operations, the company is leader of the Tirrenia Group that, with its 80 ships, makes 100,000 crossings annually, covers 3,000,000 miles, accommodates 12 million passengers, transports 2,000,000 cars and 6,500,000 linear meters of commercial vehicles.
