It is not possible to book a passage for a pet on Ocean 24 directly. If you would like to take your pet with you, please leave a message in the "remarks" box during your booking. We are very pleased to register your pet for you then.

In recent years, the regulations for importing pets have increasingly been simplified. If you want to take a dog or a cat from another EU country into Sweden, you no longer need written authorization. A certificate of good health is no more mandatory than inoculation against leptospirosis and distemper - even though both inoculations continue to be recommended.

The following are mandatory:
Identification with a microchip or a clearly recognisable tattoo.

Inoculation against rabies in accordance with the vaccine manufacturer's recommendations with an approved vaccine preparation.

Antibody test, which must be carried out no earlier than 120 and no later than 365 days after the last rabies inoculation.

Worming for small tapeworm (Echinococcus spp), carried out by a veterinary surgeon no more than 10 days before the animal is brought into the country.

Documentation in the form of a passport, in which the vet responsible notes down all of the necessary measures.

You must show your animal, complete with papers, to the customs on arrival without being asked (declaration)
